Blickling Hall is a Jacobean stately home situated in 5,000 acres of parkland in a loop of the River Bure, near the village of Blickling north of Aylsham in Norfolk, England. The mansion was built on the ruins of a Tudor building for Sir Henry Hobart from 1616 and designed by Robert Lyminge.

18 de mai. de 2021 · History of Blickling Hall. The original banqueting hall on the Blickling Estate was built in the 15th century, when the estate was in the possession of Sir John Fastolf. Blickling’s most famous resident was Anne Boleyn, second wife of Henry VIII and Queen of England between 1533 and 1536.

Blickling Hall. Blickling is a majestic Jacobean house built in 1619-20 by Robert Lyminge, the architect of Hatfield, for Sir Henry Hobart. Sir Henry was a lawyer whose successful and lucrative career culminated in 1611 in his appointment as Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas.
