  5. Blickling Hall. Blickling is a majestic Jacobean house built in 1619-20 by Robert Lyminge, the architect of Hatfield, for Sir Henry Hobart. Sir Henry was a lawyer whose successful and lucrative career culminated in 1611 in his appointment as Lord Chief Justice of the Common Pleas.
