Judith Herrin FSA (/ ˈ h ɛr ɪ n /; born 1942) is an English archaeologist, byzantinist, and historian of Late Antiquity. She was a professor of Late Antique and Byzantine sudies and the Constantine Leventis Senior Research Fellow at King's College London (now emerita).
Judith Herrin is a retired professor of Byzantine and medieval history, who has published several books on Ravenna, Byzantium, and women and empire. She is also a public speaker and a member of various academic and cultural organizations.
