Consuelo Delesseps Kanaga (May 25, 1894 – February 28, 1978) was an American photographer and writer who became well known for her photographs of African-Americans.
An advocate for the rights of African-Americans and other people of color, Kanaga distinguished her portraits from the documentary images of the Farm Security Administration by conveying her subject's physical comfort and personal pride.
