A.W.N. Pugin (born March 1, 1812, London, Eng.—died Sept. 14, 1852, London) was an English architect, designer, author, theorist, and leading figure in the English Roman Catholic and Gothic revivals. Pugin was the son of the architect Augustus Charles Pugin, who gave him his architectural and draftsmanship training.
