Werner Karl Dahm (February 16, 1917 in Lindenthal, Germany – January 17, 2008 in Huntsville, Alabama) was an early spaceflight scientist of the Peenemünde Future Projects Office who emigrated to the US under Operation Paperclip and was the Marshall Space Flight Center Chief Aerodynamicist.
Werner J.A. Dahm is Professor Emeritus of Engineering at the University of Michigan, where he served on the faculty for 25 years, and since 2010 is the ASU Foundation Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering at Arizona State University, where he leads the Laboratory for Turbulence, Combustion and Propulsion.
