Subra Suresh is an Indian-born American engineer, materials scientist, and academic leader. He is currently Professor at Large at Brown University and Vannevar Bush Professor of Engineering Emeritus at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

Prof Subra Suresh is the 4th President and the inaugural Distinguished University Professor at Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore. He is a renowned materials scientist and engineer who has served as Director of the US National Science Foundation and President of Carnegie Mellon University.
