Adolfo Carrión Jr. (born March 6, 1961) is an American businessman and former elected official from City Island. He has three sisters Elizabeth Carrión-Stevens, Damaris Carrión-Harris and Lizette Carrión. He served one term as a member of the New York City Council, representing the 14th district.
Adolfo Carrión Jr. is the HPD Commissioner. Carrión has spent his professional career working to build and improve historically marginalized communities in the Bronx, in other areas of New York City, and around the country.
Adolfo Carrión Jr. is the Chairperson and Member ex-officio of NYCHDC and the Commissioner of HPD. He has a background in affordable housing development, urban planning, and public service, and served as President of NALEO and Regional Administrator for HUD.
