Thomas Babington Macaulay, 1º Barão de Macaulay, PC (Leicestershire, 25 de outubro de 1800 – 28 de dezembro de 1859) foi um poeta, historiador e político whig britânico do século XIX. Foi membro do Parlamento do Reino Unido por Calne (1830-1832), Leeds (1832-1834) e Edimburgo (1839-1847 e 1852-1856).
Thomas Babington Macaulay, 1st Baron Macaulay, PC, FRS, FRSE (/ ˈ b æ b ɪ ŋ t ən m ə ˈ k ɔː l i /; 25 October 1800 – 28 December 1859) was a British historian and Whig politician, who served as the Secretary at War between 1839 and 1841, and as the Paymaster General between 1846 and 1848.
Thomas Babington Macaulay, Baron Macaulay was an English Whig politician, essayist, poet, and historian best known for his History of England, 5 vol. (1849–61); this work, which covers the period 1688–1702, secured his place as one of the founders of what has been called the Whig interpretation of.
