Harry Hambridge, a down-on-his-luck builder, finds out his father raised the flag in the 1916 rising. The flag now hangs in British army barracks, but Harry makes up his mind to retrieve it.

The documentary film seeks to discover what happened to the flag put up by firemen on the site of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
