Jon Ormond Newman (born May 2, 1932) is a senior United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit.
Judge Newman is a senior circuit judge who served as chief judge from 1993 to 1997. He was a law clerk for Judge Washington and Chief Justice Warren, and a U.S. attorney and administrator for Senator Ribicoff.
