Cheryl Ann Krause (born January 25, 1968) is a United States circuit judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit . Biography. Early life and education. Krause was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and grew up outside Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Krause led the prosecution and investigation of a $65 million food stamp fraud conspiracy. The investigation spanned two years and resulted in more than 60 pleas and convictions, including of several bank officers.
