Margaret Michaels is a former American actress best known for appearing as the characters of Pamela Barnes Ewing (#2) and Jeanne O'Brien on the CBS primetime soap opera Dallas, and as Santana Andrade #2 on the NBC daytime soap opera Santa Barbara.

Margaret Michaels is the actress who briefly played Pamela Barnes Ewing on Dallas after Victoria Principal left the show and later played the character Jeanne O'Brien.
In german she was dubbed with the same voiceactress like Pam, so it was not clear if she is still Pam at the beginning, cause all charakters kept their voices after actor recasting on german tv (Miss Elli, Kristin, Jenna, etc).
The youngest of three children Michaels grew up in a small southern community. She moved to Southern California in her early 20's to pursue a career in the film industry. Michaels started modeling and doing television commercials while studying acting, and working as a busy make-up artist for popular glamor photographers. In the 13 years that the television series "Dallas" was on the air, the role of Pamela Barnes Ewing was only once played by an actress other than the series regular. That actress was Margaret Michaels. A year later executive producer Leonard Katzman requested Michaels return to "Dallas" in the new role of Jeanne O'Brien, a real estate agent who has a romantic fling with Bobby Ewing.
In an interview for a book about the popular television show, Michaels was quoted as saying "working with Patrick Duffy was a joy, he is a true professional and gentleman". On the daytime series Santa Barbara, she took on the feisty role of Santana Andrada working opposite actors A. Martinez, and Lane Davies. She played the role of Nora in the Beverly Hills Playhouse production of "All This and Moonlight" with fellow daytime actress Mary Beth Evans.
