Michael Pate OAM (born Edward John Pate; 26 February 1920 – 1 September 2008) was an Australian actor, writer, director, and producer, who also worked prolifically as a supporting actor in Hollywood films and American Television during the 1950s and 1960s.
Michael Pate (1920-2008) was an Australian-born actor who appeared in many American films and TV series, such as The Court Jester, Hondo, and Tim. He also worked behind the camera as a producer and writer, and co-starred in his own Aussie TV series, Matlock Police.
