Settle College is an 11-18 comprehensive school. Founded in 1907 as Settle Girls’ High School, in 1959 we became Settle High School, one of the first comprehensive schools in the UK. Our name changed again to Settle College in 2004 when the school gained Technology College status.
Settle College (formerly Settle High School and Settle Girls' High School) is an 11–18 mixed, community secondary school and sixth form in Settle, North Yorkshire, England. It was established in 1907.
Admissions. Settle College welcomes students aged 11 to 18 in Years 7 to 13. The school is a comprehensive community school and students are admitted without their ability being assessed. Places at Settle College will normally be provided for children living within the local area.
