Mike Arturi, Universal Music Center founder, is a lifelong professional musician and music lover. Mike is the drummer for the band The Lovin' Spoonful, and plays and tours with various bands and artist! He resides in Minnesota and serves as Executive Director of UMC.
Musician. As an in-demand live and studio drummer with more than 50 years of professional performance experience, Mike Arturi has drummed for dozens of acclaimed artists including Chuck Berry, Gary Lewis and The Playboys, Badfinger, Head East, and Dick Clark’s touring Rock and Roll shows.
Today the Lovin’ Spoonful tours with founding member, Steve Boone, and Jeff Alan Ross, Bill Cinque, Rob Bonfiglio and Mike Auturi. Together they faithfully celebrate the rich, good-time catalog of hits that made them one of the world’s most beloved groups of the ‘60s.
