Alexandre Stuart (1454 - Paris, 7 de agosto de 1485) foi o filho do rei Jaime II da Escócia e de Maria de Gueldres, e irmão do rei Jaime III da Escócia. Biografia. Foi feito terceiro duque de Albany em 1458, recebendo o senhorio da Ilha de Man (Isle of Man).
Alexandre, terceiro lord Home, foi decapitado em outubro de 1516 e em 12 de novembro, Albany foi declarado herdeiro. Em 6 de junho de 1517 retornou a França, achando que o clima estava mais estável, e ali renovou a aliança entre os dois países (pelo Tratado de Rouen ).

He was the only son of his father's second marriage, to Anne de la Tour d'Auvergne, daughter of Bertrand VI of Auvergne. The ambitious though unsuccessful Alexander had fled Scotland to France in 1479, and married Anne.
