  1. Robert Lee, 4th Earl of Lichfield (17061776) was an English politician and peer, the last of the Earls of Lichfield. Birth and origins. Robert was born on 3 July 1706 in St. James Street, Westminster, London. [1] . He was one of the ten children and the youngest of the sons of Edward Henry Lee and his wife Charlotte FitzRoy.

  2. He was the cousin and heir of Henry Lee of Ditchley . The 1st Earl of Lichfield from the Lee family was succeeded by his third but eldest surviving son, George Henry Lee, who became the 2nd Earl and 6th Baronet. He constructed the stately home of Ditchley in Oxfordshire. On his death the titles passed to his son George Henry Lee, the 3rd Earl.
