Iaret (ancient Egyptian: ỉꜥrt, "Rearing Cobra") was the Queen of Pharaoh Thutmose IV in the 18th Dynasty during the New Kingdom. [1] Iaret's titles include: King's Daughter (zꜣt-nswt), King's Great Daughter (zꜣt-nswt-wrt), King's Sister (snt-nswt), and King's Great Wife (ḥmt-nswt-wrt). [2]
Iaret was the second great royal wife from the reign of Thutmose IV. Queen Nefertari is shown in inscriptions dating to the earlier part of the reign. A secondary wife of Thutmose IV by the name of Mutemwiya was the mother to the heir of the throne.

La reine Iaret est la première grande épouse royale de Thoutmôsis IV (XVIII e dynastie). Elle précède dans ce rôle Néfertari , en l'an 7 du règne. La transcription de son nom n'est pas certaine.
