Young Actors Space (YAS) is a performing arts academy founded in 1979 by Diane Hill Hardin and Nora Eckstein. YAS offers online and in-person classes for actors of all ages, using a process-oriented method that nurtures creativity and confidence.
Young Actors Space (YAS) was established in 1979 by Diane Hill Hardin and Nora Eckstein in Los Angeles. This team was the first in the entertainment industry to establish a performing arts academy for young, working and aspiring actors.
Young Actors Space offers three professional working spaces for classes, performances, coachings, audition tapings and rentals. Learn more about the Big Room, the On-Camera Room, the YAS Theatre and how to rent the space for your next project.
In this four-week workshop young actors will touch on a wide variety of acting skills to add to their toolbox. Day one will be all improvisation; day two will focus on cold-reading a script; day three students will work on a memorized scene; the last class will focus on on-camera technique.
Whether just starting out or a seasoned pro, our online classes at Young Actors Space provide a safe, creative environment for actors to grow while exploring the joys of acting from the comfort of home.
