Jean Fleming, Countess of Cassilis (1553/4–1609) was a Scottish noblewoman and courtier at the court of James VI of Scotland, and a survivor of domestic violence.
When Jean Fleming Countess of Cassillis was born about 1554, in Biggar, Lanarkshire, Scotland, United Kingdom, her father, James Fleming 4th Lord Fleming, was 30 and her mother, Lady Barbara Hamilton, was 22. She married Sir John Maitland 1st Lord Maitland of Thirlestane on 16 January 1583.
