  2. The Centre for Talented Youth, Ireland - Secondary School Programme Overview. Secondary School Students. CTYI organises courses for second level students every summer in the months of June and July. We also have a wide range of Correspondence Courses which take place during the school year.   3. The Centre for Talented Youth Ireland (CTYI) is a programme for students of high academic ability between the ages of six and seventeen in Ireland. There are sibling projects around the world, most notably the CTY programme at Johns Hopkins University, the original model for CTY Ireland.

  4. In the same year, the Centre for Talented Youth in Ireland was established in Dublin. By 1992, CTY had approximately 6,000 students enrolled in summer programs across twelve sites in the United States and abroad.
