John Burroughs High School is a public high school located in Burbank, in Los Angeles County, California. It is known for its notable alumni, and being the filming location for many television shows.

Burroughs is the only school in Missouri’s six classes that had both its girls and boys basketball teams advance to the final four in the 2023-24 season. Both teams made it to the championship game — the girls placed first and the boys placed second making it a milestone year for the Burroughs basketball program.

Tuition for the 2024–2025 school year is $36,300. Other charges — for books, supplemental classroom materials, athletic teams, and field trips — can cost more than an additional $1,000 per year. Tuition for the 2025-2026 school year will be set in January 2025.
