The school expanded its research and education curriculum over time, becoming a polytechnic school in 1864 and an institute of technology (making it a full-fledged university) in 1905. It changed its name to Delft University of Technology in 1986.

Below you will find an overview of all bachelor's programmes that we offer. Please not that only four programmes are offered fully in English; Aerospace Engineering, Applied Earth Sciences, Computer Science and Engineering and Nanobiology. All bachelor's programmes last three years.

Polytechnische School te Delft was een instituut voor hoger onderwijs in de techniek in Delft van 1864 tot 1905. Het was de opvolger van de Koninklijke Akademie te Delft, die in 1843 was gestart. In 1905 is deze school omgevormd tot Technische Hogeschool Delft, en in 1988 tot de huidige Technische Universiteit Delft.
École Polytechnique's Bachelor of Science is a three-year Program designed for students with a strong interest for Mathematics and Science. This highly selective and multidisciplinary Program is entirely taught in English.
