Description of research and teaching. I teach and research at the intersection of these areas: social theory, cultural socology, historical sociology and globalization studies. My aim is to bring theoretical considerations to history and historical considerations to theory.
David Robert Inglis is a contemporary sociologist and academic. Education and career. Inglis earned a bachelor's degree in sociology from the University of Cambridge and then went on to complete his Master's and PhD in sociology at the University of York. [1] [2] He has been a sociology professor at the University of Helsinki since 2017.
