A Taste of Honey is an American recording act, formed in Los Angeles, California in 1972 by associates Janice-Marie Johnson and Perry Kibble. In 1978, they had one of the best known chart-toppers of the disco era, "Boogie Oogie Oogie".
Perry Kibble was a musician and producer who played in the band \"A Taste of Honey\" and created the band \"Clear Image\" in Canada. He died in 1999 from Congestive Heart Failure.
Based in Los Angeles, A Taste of Honey had only a brief recording career, but in that time landed two monster hits and set for themselves a permanent place in music history. Fronted by bassist/singer Johnson and guitarist/singer Payne, the group also originally included keyboardist Perry Kibble and drummer and Donald Johnson.
