Temple Grove School was a preparatory school for boys, and after 1984 also for girls, originally at Parsons Green, London, later at East Sheen, London, still later at Eastbourne, and finally at Heron's Ghyll, an estate between Uckfield and Crowborough in East Sussex.
Welcome to Temple Grove Academy. Temple Grove Academy is an Ofsted rated ‘Good’ school (September 2019). It is a very happy school in which all children feel secure and confident.
Temple Grove Academy is a one-form entry primary school located in Tunbridge Wells (near High Brooms train station). It has been managed by the Temple Grove Academy Trust since 2011 and has since achieved a Good rating from Ofsted in September 2019.
About Us. Temple Grove in its entirety is a very happy school in which all children feel secure and confident. Children are encouraged to develop positive attitudes towards learning and to achieve high standards in all that they do.
The site was taken over by Temple Grove Preparatory School in 1907 and has been known as Temple Grove ever since. Temple Grove School remained on site until 1935 when it moved to Heron’s Ghyll near Uckfield.
At Temple Grove Academy, our curriculum is broad, contextualised and encourages a deep understanding of all that is taught. It is purposeful, engaging, discussion-rich and caters to the needs of all of the pupils in our care, thus enabling them to thrive academically and develop key social, emotional, moral, cultural and spiritual values.
