To fully appreciate the genius of Michael Doucet dit Beausoliel and Cajun Brew, you have to trace the formation of Cajun music from the Celtic World through Bretagne, then Acadia, and after the great deportation, to Louisiana where it came face to face with it’s Celtic/English cousin, Country and Western.
