Thomas Butler, 7th Earl of Ormond PC (1426 – 3 August 1515) was the youngest son of James Butler, 4th Earl of Ormond. He was attainted, but restored by Henry VII's first Parliament in November 1485, and the statutes made at Westminster, by Edward IV, which declared him and his brothers traitors, were abrogated.
Butler, Thomas (c.1424–1515), 7th earl of Ormond , was third son of James (qv), 4th earl of Ormond, and his first wife, Joan, daughter of William Beauchamp, Lord Abergavenny. Though born in Ireland he spent virtually his entire life in England.

Similarly, when early in 1600 the earl of Tyrone moved south into Munster, Ormond's forces shadowed him, forcing him to retreat rather than risk a confrontation so far from his Ulster base. This was Ormond's last great military deed.
Butler, Thomas (d. 1419), prior of Kilmainham and deputy lieutenant of Ireland, was the illegitimate son of James Butler (qv), 3rd earl of Ormond, and an unknown woman.
Butler, Thomas, 7th Earl of Ormond, succeeded his brother in 1478. He also had been attainted by Edward IV. and the attainder was revoked, as in the case of his predecessor. By Henry VII. he was made a Privy-Councillor, and was in 1492 and 1497 sent on diplomatic missions to France.
