Sonny Mayo (born July 16, 1971) is an American guitarist. Career. Mayo began playing in a thrash metal band called Silence in the late 1980s. Silence (John Mayes, Benjamin Gaither, Louie Denslow, Jason Robinson and Sonny), regularly sold out venues in the DC Metro area including the "Bayou" in Georgetown.

2 de abr. de 2019 · Sonny Mayo is a veteran of Snot, Hed PE and Sevendust, who found renewal and purpose in recovery from addiction. He shares his story of overcoming obsession, sadness and spirituality, and how he helps others through music therapy and Rock to Recovery.
Sonny facilitates virtual Rock to Recovery® sessions, serving Air Force Wounded Warriors (AFW2), Semper Fi Fund, and other non profit organizations. He is also the lead recovery coach for R2R Companions, a Breathwork healer, and plays guitar with the Rock to Recovery® band, Sacred Sons.
Sonny Mayo is a super rad musician, breathwork facilitator, and overall human being. Sonny has been sober for 21 years, and he now facilitates Rock to Recovery® sessions and breathwork sessions to help people heal through creativity and breathing.
