Queen's College ( QC) is a secondary school in Georgetown, Guyana. History. It was established in 1844 by Bishop William Piercy Austin as an Anglican grammar school for boys [1] and was aimed at educating the colonial elite. [2] .
Queen's College is Guyana's premier secondary educational institution. Admission is selective, and its students are renowned for their academic and athletic prowess. The College has been in existence for 180 years, and its curriculum caters for a wide range of disciplines.
