Aside from Donald Fagen's surprisingly unsettling backing music on A New Standard by Which to Measure Infamy, this is basically just William S. Burroughs' stentorian, "grandpa telling stories about sodomy over dinner" voice set to bombastic, schmaltzy orchestration.
