St Joseph's Fairview, sometimes St Joseph's C.B.S., and previously St Joseph's Secondary Christian Brothers' School, is a co-educational secondary school in Fairview, Dublin, Ireland, having been boys-only until 2023.
Information. St. Joseph’s, is a famous Northside Dublin school. In 2013 the school celebrated 125 years of involvement in the Irish Educational System. Many famous past pupils have passed through its doors. The school educates boys to Leaving Certificate standard and boys and girls for Repeat Leaving Certificate.
Our school was then called St. Joseph’s, Fairview to distinguish it from the other St. Joseph’s. “St Joseph’s”, as it affectionately became known, began life as a Primary school only but in 1890 the Brothers decided to open an Intermediate ( Secondary ) class and one of the school’s three rooms was given over to this new class.
