Riverdale Country School is a co-educational, independent, college-preparatory day school in New York City serving pre-kindergarten through twelfth grade. It is located on two campuses covering more than 27.5 acres (111,000 m 2) in the Riverdale section of the Bronx, New York, United States.
Students enlarge and refine their worldview at Riverdale by practicing the skills that enable them to live and work alongside individuals with different opinions, beliefs, and customs. We teach respect for differences, as well as strategies to build bridges – not walls.

Riverdale Country School is the largest independent school campus in New York City, with a total of 27.5 acres: the 19.5-acre Middle and Upper School Hill Campus for Grades 6-12, and the 8-acre Lower School River Campus for Pre-Kindergarten-Grade 5.
Riverdale students are active learners who break down complex problems, ask good questions, evaluate evidence, and develop confidence in their own abilities and talents. The in-depth curriculum and extensive co-curricular programs work together to provide knowledge and experience.
