  5. On June 27, 1919, Walter Benjamin passed his doctoral exam at the University of Bern. Exactly 100 years later, we want to celebrate this with an academic ceremony in the presence of three of Walter Benjamins granddaughters and two great grandchildren. The rector of the University of Bern, Prof. Dr. Christian Leumann, will give the welcome address.
