  5. Home. Nondegree/Visiting Student Guide. High School Students. Qualified high school juniors or seniors may apply for admission as University Special students to become eligible to enroll in a course at UW–Madison. A minimum high school GPA of 3.000 overall and in the most recent semester is required.

UWMadison does not prefer one application over the other. Please choose only one application and use only that application all the way through to submission.
