Stonyhurst College is a co-educational Catholic private school, adhering to the Jesuit tradition, on the Stonyhurst Estate, Lancashire, England. It occupies a Grade I listed building. The school has been fully co-educational since 1999.
Stonyhurst is a Jesuit boarding and day school for 3–18 year olds in Lancashire, offering IB, A Levels and Pre-IB courses. It has a beautiful 1000 acre estate, a vibrant community and a global alumni network.
Stonyhurst College, Roman Catholic school for boys in Lancanshire, Eng., conducted by the Jesuits. It originated in a college for English boys founded at Saint-Omer (France) in 1593, later moved to Bruges and then to Liège. In 1794 it moved into its present home, Stonyhurst Hall. Its observatory.
