Death and burial. Jasper Tudor died at Thornbury Castle on 21 December 1495, and was buried at Keynsham Abbey in Somerset, which Lady Agnes Cheyne, the incumbent of Chenies Manor House, bequeathed to him in 1494. References
21 de dez. de 2015 · On 21st December 1495, Jasper Tudor, 1st Duke of Bedford and 1st Earl of Pembroke, died at his manor at Thornbury at the age of around sixty-four. His entrails were buried at the parish church at Thornbury and the rest of his remains were laid to rest at Keynsham Abbey, according to the instructions he left in his will of 15th December.

10 de mar. de 2017 · Jasper’s ownership of these vast lands in that part of Wales gave the area a new, strong and stable regime which had been lacking since the death of the Duke of Suffolk in 1450. The king also made sure the brothers had a magnificent wardrobe to match their enhanced status. Jasper and Edmund were knighted at the Tower of London on January 5, 1453.
17 de out. de 2017 · Richard was killed during the battle and Henry Tudor was proclaimed King Henry VII. King Henry VII restored Jasper to the Earldom of Pembroke and gave him back Pembroke Castle. Henry showed his gratitude to Jasper by giving him the honour of carrying the crown during Henry’s coronation.
DIED: 1495. Son of Owen Tudor and Katherine of Valois (widow of Henry V) and half brother of Henry VI. Brother of Edmund Tudor (father of the future Henry VII ). Jasper played a major role on behalf of the Lancastians in the Wars of the Roses and was with his nephew Henry Tudor in exile in Brittany.
