For 2026 entry a boy needs to be registered by 30 June 2023. These are strict deadlines unless a boy is specifically applying for the King’s Scholarship or Music Awards, for which eligible boys can apply in UK School Year 8 up to the age of 13.
For boys entering the school at age 13 (Year 9), parents will be invited to complete a bursary application form when their son is finishing Year 5 and completed bursary application forms need to be submitted in September of Year 6. Published deadlines will be strictly adhered to.
Entry to the school is at 13+ and unless you are applying for a King’s, Music or a new Foundation Scholarship, boys must be registered by the June of Year 5, when they are still 9 or 10 years old. Eton admits 260 boys each year from a very wide range of schools, both state and private.
