Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse is an American television anthology series produced by Desilu Productions. The show ran on the Columbia Broadcasting System between 1958 and 1960. Three of its 48 episodes served as pilots for the 1950s television series The Twilight Zone (one episode) and The Untouchables (two episodes).

Martin is a middle class husband living with his wife and son in suburbia. The family is forced to live austerely while Martin spends every extra dollar building a boat in his garage. Martin's dream is that when he has completed the boat his family will be happy at last.
CBS. Lucy, Ricky, Fred, and Ethel are visiting San Diego. While Ricky rehearses a show with Maurice Chevalier, Lucy and Ethel cross the Mexican border to do a little shopping. Returning to the US, a stowaway boy is found in the Ricardo's car trunk by US Customes. With Lucy and Ethel in jail, Ricky, Fred, and Maurice come to the rescue.
In mid 1958, Desi Arnaz proclaimed this new Desilu show as his "#1 baby", and promised Desilu Playhouse would include great hours of drama, comedy, and variety. His biggest selling point, however, was the creation of new hour long I Love Lucy episodes.
