Amber Augusta Rudd (born 1 August 1963) is a British former politician who served as Home Secretary from 2016 to 2018 and Secretary of State for Work and Pensions from 2018 to 2019.

Amber Rudd is a Conservative MP for Hastings and Rye and a former Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, Home Affairs and Energy and Climate Change. She has also served as Minister for Women and Equalities and has a background in investment banking and venture capital.
