Alois Terry Leiter ( / ˈlaɪtər /; born October 23, 1965) is an American former professional baseball player and current television sports commentator. He played in Major League Baseball as a left-handed pitcher from 1987 to 2005 for the New York Yankees, Toronto Blue Jays, Florida Marlins, and New York Mets.
Al Leiter is a former left-handed pitcher who played 19 seasons in MLB for the Mets, Marlins, Yankees and Blue Jays. He won 162 games, had a 3.80 ERA and was a two-time All-Star and World Series champion.
