Benenden School is an expert in educating young women. The site on which the School stands is of great historical interest as both the parkland and woodland are mentioned in the Domesday Book: “Robert of Romney also holds Benenden [Benendine] from the Bishop of Bayeux”. Benenden had become sufficiently permanent by 1086 to have both a name and a church. Benenden became a Charitable Foundation.

At Benenden Sixth Form entry is highly competitive, so candidates should choose their strongest subjects. Candidates should be registered with the School by 1 August. We then will be in touch to make the assessment arrangements. Candidates can come to Benenden to sit their Entrance papers on Friday 10 November 2023.
