Andrew Lesnie ACS ASC (1 January 1956 – 27 April 2015) was an Australian cinematographer. He was best known as the cinematographer for The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–2003) and its prequel The Hobbit trilogy (2012–2014), both directed by New Zealand director Peter Jackson.
Andrew Lesnie (Sydney, 1 de janeiro de 1956 — 27 de abril de 2015) foi um diretor de fotografia australiano. [1] Lesnie cursou a Australian Film Television and Radio School, graduando-se em 1979. Seu primeiro trabalho após a conclusão do curso foi no programa de TV Simon Townsend's Wonder World.
Andrew Lesnie was an Australian cinematographer who frequently worked with Peter Jackson. He did the photography for The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit film trilogies. He also did the photography for Babe, King Kong, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, I Am Legend and The Lovely Bones.
