Denny Hulme was the first and only F1 champion from New Zealand to date. Born in Motueka, New Zealand, on the 18th of June of 1936, Denis Clive Hulme was not your typical Formula 1 driver with a flashy style, but he certainly showed his supreme ability behind the wheel and earned a well-deserved title in 1967.

18 de jun. de 2019 · Denny Hulme rimane uno dei piloti storici della Formula 1 e l’unico neozelandese campione del mondo, con il suo unico titolo vinto con la Brabham nel 1967. Nato il 18 giugno 1936, originario di Nelson in Nuova Zelanda e soprannominato “l’orso”, Hulme, in 10 anni di corse vinse 8 gare, salendo sul podio per 33 volte ed arrivando terzo in classifica finale nel 1968 e 1972 con la McLaren.
