Patrick Cassidy followed in the footsteps of his actor parents Jack Cassidy and Shirley Jones and his brother Shaun Cassidy and half-bother David Cassidy, by establishing himself as a frequent television and occasional feature film star. He began his career in the early 1980s.
Patrick’s newest recording The Mass, recorded with The London Symphony Orchestra and London Voices, was released in November 2019. Patrick Cassidy is a knight of Italy, conferred by the President of Italy, and bestowed with the title of Cavaliere dell’Ordine della Stella d’Italia - Knight of the Order of the Star of Italy for his contribution to the arts.
Patrick Cassidy ist Irlands renommiertester lebender klassischer Komponist. Neben klassischer Musik schreibt er auch Filmmusik.
