Several unproduced screenplays and two novels followed: Bleak November in 1970 and The Mayspoon in 1981. June Skinner has resided in West Vancouver since 1959.

A 12-year-old orphan who has just inherited a fortune is trapped on an island with his uncle, a former British intelligence commander who intends to kill him. A young girl is the boy's only ally against the sarcastic uncle, who uses hypnotism, a pool of sharks, fire, and poisonous mushrooms as weapons.
31 de jul. de 2020 · En ook al vond ik het einde, waarin men het probeert af te schrijven als een levensles voor de kinderen, wel grappig en Castle-waardig, sluit het niet echt aan bij de rest van de film. Uiteindelijk is Let's Kill Uncle een kinderfilm die net als de meeste van dit soort films van midden jaren zestig, meer luchtig en avontuurlijk is dan dat je echte horror kan verwachten.
