North American high school students may only apply to the five-year BVetMed programme , the six-year BVetMed with intercalated year or the five-year Bachelor of Veterinary Science through UCAS. Interviews for North American applicants will be held in November/December.

  6. Aberystwyth University, the Royal Veterinary College and the RCVS are working together to ensure that the new degree meets these standards and that graduates will be eligible for registration. Under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966, veterinary degrees must have a “recognition order” from the Privy Council before graduates can automatically be eligible for registration with the RCVS.

  7. D:30,M:15. Diplomas must be Science based and include a minimum of 15 Level 3 credits in Biology at Distinction and 15 Level 3 credits in Chemistry at Distinction. You must achieve at least Merit in all other graded Level 3 credits. D3,D3,D3. in three Principal Subjects: Biology; Chemistry; A third subject of your choice.
