2 de out. de 2021 · Charles Edward Stuart, Count Roehenstart, lived from 6 May 1784 to 28 October 1854. He was born the illegitimate son of the legitimised daughter of Charles Edward Stewart, better known as Bonnie Prince Charlie or the Young Pretender, and his is a sorry tale of ambitions unfulfilled, of opportunities and fortunes lost, and of an untimely death caused by a traffic accident in Scotland.

May 1784 – 28 October 1854) was the natural son of Prince Ferdinand of Rohan (1738-1813), Roman Catholic Archbishop of Cambrai, by Charlotte Stuart, Duchess of Albany, herself the natural but legitimated daughter of Charles Edward Stuart, 'The Young Pretender' or 'Bonnie Prince Charlie'.
Carlos Eduardo Luís João Casimiro Silvestre Severino Maria Stuart , filho de Jaime Francisco Eduardo Stuart e de Maria Clementina Sobieska, foi um pretendente ao trono da Inglaterra e Escócia e Irlanda. Viveu no exílio até aos 24 anos de idade, altura em que tentou iniciar uma rebelião com o objetivo de restaurar a Casa de Stuart ao trono, em favor de seu pai, a qual seria derrotada.
As the illegitimate son of the illegitimate daughter of the Stuart Pretender Charles III, Roehenstart had no right to the throne whatsoever. So the title " a late Stuart Pretender" is taken it too far and indeed Roehenstart did not pose as a pretender to the throne. In spite of his parentage, Charles Edward was raised a Protestant.
