Theatre of Blood/Entry Mode. In Entry Mode, the player is given an unlimited amount of deaths to try to finish the raid. Hardcore ironmen will lose their status on the first death. Each death takes away from the loot available at the end of the raid. After killing the Pestilent Bloat and Sotetseg, the chest may be investigated to find ten bandages.
"Theatre of Blood" is an over-the-top campy (and I guess the closest term would be) slasher. The film stars the incomparable Vincent Price as a disgruntled Shakespearean actor Edward Lionheart. Expecting to receive an award from his final performance before retiring, he's snubbed by the critics and overlooked.
Theatre of Blood's Hard Mode is a Theatre of Blood raid with increased difficulty. Similarly to Challenge Mode Chambers of Xeric, the enemies have more health, though their combat stats are usually the same or lower, and the bosses' mechanics are modified. To attempt a hard mode raid, all participants must have at least one normal mode completion.
