Réalisateur, scénariste et producteur américain, Bill Condon se passionne très tôt pour le cinéma et étudie dans sa jeunesse la philosophie. Il devient ensuite journaliste cinéma au cours des années 80 et écrit parallèlement quelques scripts qui sont tournés.
